About the Artist: Christian Paris Blue is a dance artist living between Brooklyn and Tucson, Arizona. Currently, Christian is a company member of @Hawkinsdance. Studying on full scholarship, Christian recently received his BFA in Dance from the University of Arizona. As a performer, Christian has danced in works by various choreographers such as Nacho Duato, George Balanchine, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Larry Keigwin, Amy Ernst, James Clouser and more. In 2019 Christian was the recipient of the Gertrude Sherr award, being recognized for excellence in performance, with a focus in Modern dance. Christian has also stared in various Film and Televison projects such as The 28-30th Annual Spirit of Christmas, The University of Arizona School of Dance National Recruitment Commercial and “The Award.” Christian has spent multiple summers touring Europe while performing Jazz and Contemporary works with The Christian Dance Company. As a Choreographer, Christian’s work has been presented at the Stevie Eller Dance Theatre, The Tucson Museum of Art and The Scoundrel and Scamp Theater.
